How do I disable hyperlink popup path boxes in slide show mode?

In Powerpoint (Office 2003 and 2007) slide show mode it is very annoying when
the mouse pointer is placed on a hyperlink and a popup box appears that
details the path to its linked file.

Is there a way to disable this? I've found that I can immediately cause the
path popup box to go away by clicking on the f5 function key instead of
waiting for it to timeout and disappear. These popup path boxes are very
distracting to the viewers and quite frankly, I hate them. WTF?

Any suggestions on how to get rid of these things?

Hi

Just put some text (even just a space) in the screen tip box (you'll see the
button in the top right hand corner of the hyperlink dialogue box). A pop up
box will still appear but it will look more professional :)
