Patching PC

I am using GFI Languard software to patch 2000/XP machines
in the building. I am having no trouble with 99 percent
of the machine. I have a hand full that will not let me
deploy patches on them. I get prompted for username and
password. I have admin rights on the machine. Any ideas
of you I cannot gain access to the C$, Admin$ shares? I
am a admin on the network and on the local machine.....HELP
 
Can you manually browse these shares from the run cmd
line? If not, admin shares may have been disabled on
these machines.
