patches to remove welchia off of win server 2000

Which updates are required to remove welchia? The windows 2000 patches don't work with server 2000.

Hi

None of the MS updates will remove the welchia worm, they will only stop the worm from infecting the
computer (again).

Be sure that MS03-039 is installed: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=824146

If IIS is installed on the server, be sure that either MS03-007 or MS03-013 is installed.

Then you can run a cleanup tool, e.g. Stinger.exe from McAfee, it removes 30+
virus/worms in one sweep, including all MSBlaster variants (McAfee
name W32/Lovsan.worm), Welchia (McAfee name W32/Nachi.worm) and Sobig.f
