Outlook 2003

OUtlook will not open. Tell me to reinstall.
When I try to uninstall via Control panel a box opens
telling me the Patch package could not be opened and to
contact the vendor to see if it is a valid windows
installed patch.

Before outlook died, i tried the repair option and got
the same thing. Any ideas. I would love to reformat..

On the CD you'll find OFFCLN.EXE as well. You can use this to force the
removal of Office. You should then be able to install it again.

I ran Offcln.exe. In the list of apps I can remove
OUtlook is not there. I tried to remove everything.
OUtlook still remains. All the problems still persist

Hi Eric,
This issue might happen if your office application is corrupted
due to patch installations. It wont allow us to uninstall nor repair the
application.
We need to download windows installer clean utility Install it.Uninstall
office application and then reinstall it.
We need to be careful while running windows installer clean up as it will
also list few third party and other microsoft programs as all these programs
use windows installer principle.
Check this link to download windows installer clean up .
