Pasting Formatted Excel Chart Into PowerPoint

Hello:

My company just updated to 2003 from 2000 suite of apps...

In 2000 I used to be able to paste an excel chart into powerpoint and this
chart would look exactly the same with Excel functionality when double
clicked. In 2003 I cannot seem to do this. Everytime the formatting changes
and it appears to be a picture?...does anyone know a solution to this?

Make sure that your new version of PowerPoint has all the latest updates
