Pasting Excel 97 Tables Into Front Page 2003

When I highlight and copy a table from Excel 97 and paste it into
Front Page 2003 it is not pasted as a table (it's plain text w/ each
'row' in the initial Excel table being a new line in Front Page).
Selecting different 'Paste Special' options doesn't appear to resolve
this.

When I used to do this from Excel 97 to Front Page 98 it worked fine.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

In Excel 97, go to File, Save as HTML. Answer the various
formatting options, then save as an .htm. file. In FP
2003, use File > Open to open the page and save to your FP
folder.
Then select the table and format as you would any other
table.

Thanks for the reply Steve... I'm trying to have this occur as easily
as possible (i.e. it's a daily procedure item) so the copy/paste I
used to do w/ FP98 was perfect -- I wonder if anyone else has any
reasons as to why the simple copy/paste solution doesn't work w/
FP2003...
