Past Present & Future Entries

My calendar is showing past, present and future entries all on one date. For
example, on today's date there are entries from April 7, 2005 as well as
future entries - April 7, 2009. Is there a way I can show just this year??

what view are you using? the day/week/month view would only show old
appointments if they were made to recur this year.
