help!

we have windows xp on a dell machine, and i am the administrator. my wife
and daughter have their own accounts as limited accounts. my daughter lost
her passwords, and can't remember it. i remember on a thread like this a few
months ago that if the administrator went to start/run and typed
"controluserpasswords" or something like that, it would let you in, or do
something.

her homework assignment is in jeopardy!

many, many thanks

1.Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.
3. Clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this
computer" check box, then click Apply.
4. In the Automatically Log On window, type the password in the Password
box, and then retype the password in the Confirm Password box.
5. Click OK to close the Automatically Log On window, and then click OK
to close the User Accounts window.

Would it not be an easier option to log in as administrator and simply reset
the users pasword ?
