In Internet Options, Content, click AutoComplete, add add what you want
saved.
Another thought.. In W98 machines, if you shut down "Client for
Microsoft Networks", you could lose the ability to save passwords. That
might still be the case with XP. If so, enable the network component,
save the passwords, then turn that component off again.. if that's your
preference.
