I want my users to be able create there own password when
there passwords expire. They keep getting a error message
stating you do not have permission to change your
password. i had this problem before, and i did fix it by
giving my users account operator permissions but for some
reason it stopped working and my users cannot change
there passwords again. Any help is appreciated

Hi Jasont:

Are the clients XP?

When you try to change your password after you log on to
your computer for the first time, you may receive the following error
message:
You do not have permission to change your password

This problem can occur if the following conditions are true:

- Your computer is part of a Microsoft Windows 2000 domain. -and-
- The "User must change password at first logon" option is enabled for
your user account. -and-
- The RestrictAnonymous value in the
