i can not add a password to stop someone from logging on
my computer can anyone help i am using windows 2000 pro
 
Are you on a stand alone workstation or a member of a network?
Logon as Administrator, go to Start | Settings... | Control Panel | Users
and Passwords, select your user name, click Set Password, type it in twice
and hit okay. The password should be a complex password to prevent hacker
attack. Look in Help for Complex passwords
