Passwording Messenger 6.0

L

Lynda

Can someone please tell me how to password protect my 6.0
version of MSN Messenger. I've already gone into the
Options menu and then into Privacy and clicked on Always
ask me for my password when checking Hotmail or opening
other .NET Passport-enabled Web pages but after closing
Messenger out and reopening it...it opens right up and
doesn't ask for the password.

Pleeeeaaassssee help me some kind soul.

Greetings Lynda,

To stop the automatic login and require a password, click the Start Button, then click the
Control Panel. Then, click User Accounts in the Control Panel. Select your account name, and
then on the left side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click 'Manage my Network
Passwords'. In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click
'Remove'.
