Are you aware of NTFS permissions?

Don't trust Microsoft solutions here. I would recommend an OTFE
product. One such freeware solution for NT/W2K is the old E4M
program available at:

<http://www.samsimpson.com/cryptography/scramdisk/>

With OTFE, You create a container file on your machine that
mounts with a password as a disk. Reading/Writing to this virtual
disk will encrypt on-the-fly to the container file. Dismounting the
volume leaves all data encrypted. Encryption is with proven
algorithms. Don't forget your password.

Other commercial products doing the same thing are also available.
Best Crypt <http://www.jetico.com/>
Drive Crypt <http://www.drivecrypt.com/home.html>
among others.

Also Checkout "OTFE: A Comparison"
