Is there a password protection capability to operate the wireless connection;
i.e. need a password to turn it on, that doesn't affect the normal log-in to
Vista?

Though, i can logon to my account using finger print, still i want to have
the password option open as well. Is there any solution to change the
windows password ???

#1. Checked verisign (fingerprint reader) settings to change windows
password, it also asks for old password.
#2. Tried Safe mode, but it didn't allowed me to login without password.
#3. Created new Admin account, but not sure if i will be able to access all
my information and documents from that account.

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks for your time and support in advance.

Using this software,
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
you should be able to change a forgotten password.
