My daughter set up a password on her computer that has
worked fine until recently. Now for somereason, the
computer will not accept her password when she tries to
log-in. How can we get the password off so that she can
use the computer?

Log on to the safe mode and delete all user accounts:

How to enter safe mode:

1. Restart the computer.

2. At the red Compaq logo, tap F8 key repeatedly until you
see the Advanced Startup Menu.

3. In the Advanced Startup Menu, choose safe mode by
making use of arrow keys. Make sure safe mode option is
highlighted and press enter key.

Once in safe mode, you can delete the existing user
