Password

Why do I have to have the "Password" box that comes up
when computer is intially starting. How can I go into
the system to take that out so that when I start my
computer it just brings me to my desktop without that box
waiting for a password. Also I just press enter and it
leave so what is the point?

Go to the Control Panel, User Accounts and pick your account. There you
will have the choice of not using a password.
