Password

Is it possible to include "password security " to restrict viewing of some
areas of a web site.

Ie. If an individual clicks on a link from my main page they are required to
enter a password before bieng permitted further acces to that area

I want to post some personal details on my website which only I can access.

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions

you need to make a subweb, publish it and apply security settings to the
folder - check with your host about this.
