Password will not save

I have two accounts set up on Outlook for outgoing mail in two different
profiles. Replies come back to one primary address. However, when Outlook
checks for incoming mail the first (default) profile is fine but the second
keeps asking for a password and checking the 'save password' box just does
nothing as it will not accept the 'saved' password. It appears to be a
software glitch. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

I notice others having the same problem. It has only just started happening
to me in the last week since I upgraded to XP Pro. My version of Outlook is
the 2002 version. Is there a fix on the way?
