password to publish site

I've been using FrontPage98 to put websites online for
several years. Although this wasn't an issue with past
computers, I'm having trouble with this new one. I'm
putting the websites back online and have a problem with
the password. When I click "publish" it asks for my
password... continually and doesn't accept it. It is the
correct one. I've tried changing it in the Root Web...
using the box for unique permissions... and nothing
works. Until I can get past this problem, I can't publish
the changes I have to the sites. I'm the only one to use
the computer, I created the webs and am the only one to
work on them.... help!

I think your trying to publishing to a hosting provider,
they can send you the correct password to your site.

Webs are in 2 places;

1. On your PC hard drive

2. On your ISP hosting provider out in the Web

Everything depends on where you want to publish to...
