Password Same on 2 XP Machines

Hi,
In trying to set up a network for a friend using HomeFree USB HPNA
adapters, we hit a snag with a password request.

Host Dell
Client HP

Both systems us XP Home, and were set up with exactly the same
user name and password by my friend.

After installing both USB adapters, while on the host/dell, the
client/HP showed up in one neteworking folder on the host/dell...(I
use 09se on my machines, and the
XP folder/names are not on the tip of my tongue)

From the host, clicking on the client icon brings up a user name and
password screen, and her user name and password is not accepted.
Can someone tell me step by step how to get around this password
issue?
Thanks for your help :)

Run the Network Setup Wizard on the client, and tell it that the
client connects to the Internet through another computer on your
network. That's all that should be needed:

XP ICS - Starting the Network Setup Wizard
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_ics/networksetupwiz.htm

If you've explicitly disabled network access by the Guest account on
the client, enable it by typing this command on the client:

net user guest /active:yes

If you've explicitly defined a password for the Guest account on the
client, enter that password at the password screen.

The Diamond Homefree USB adapters do not show up as options when
the Network Setup Wizard is run :( This is making the
whole setup much more complicated. I have been reading
networking articles and users groups trying to sort this
out. (I have had two previous networks..a pre XP actiontech
HPNA, and a current Ethernet LAN)
The inability to run the Network Setup Wizard sure complicates this
dialup home network.
Thanks,
Tom
