Password protection

Dear Sirs,

I have three databases (front, middle, back office) where all important
parts are combined in a fourth database with a Main Switchboard.

That means everyone from my office has to enter over the Main switchboard.

Now my problem:
Some persons are only permitted to enter to certain information from certain
tables and to alter them.
I’m trying to password protect those parts but have absolutely no idea how
to do that.
My plan is to set up somehow 4 security levels for the employees and each
employee is only permitted to see and alter the data of his security level.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
With kindest regards
Klaus

Upon authentication, take them to the "appropriate" form. The appropriate
form for the security level, group, or person would be based on a query that
contains only the fields that the user is authorized to see/edit/delete etc.
