How do I protect the PC from beeing started up at all
without my knowledge? Anyone knowing?

You can password protect computer to boot up in BIOS
settings. To get there you must press F1, or F2 or delete
or something else. It depends on manufacturer. Usually
you can enter setup password and boot password. So enter
boot password, confirm it and that should work.
