password problems

how do I get my computer to save my new password on the
dial up screen as it keeps going back to the original
password all the time. I have tried both areas to save ie:
dial up screen and connectin screen and both won't save
my new password. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
and step by step too please as I am a new user.

You might try deleting the connection from Control Panel|Network
Connections and recreating it with the new password. When you recreate
it, try calling it something slightly different.
