Hi. I was tring to set up my password the other day for the first time.
Every time I put in the password I wanted, it told me that it couldn't CHANGE
the password. Problem is, I havent had a password before. It should have
been setting it up for the first time. Can someone explain to me what to do!
Any help would be appriciated.

In general, when you request to change the password the system should ask
you for your current password, then ask for a new password to be input twice
..

If you have never entered a password it should still ask you for it - the
answer at this stage is a simple carriage return i.e. blank. Then it should
ask for new password.

Hello,

Can you describe how you are trying to change your password?

Are you using the control panel?

- Click start
- Click control panel
- Click user accounts and family safety
- Click User Accounts

Do you get the option 'Create a password for your account' or does it say
'Change your password'?

You can leave the old password field blank, and enter the new one in
twice (for confirmation). And are you clicking on the "Create a password
for your account" in the User Accounts? If it says "Change password"
then there may already be one on there.
