password problems

i have a second hand computer with windows xp professional for NT and changed
the user name (put in my name and deleted previous password) through normal
processes but system will now not let me log in without the password - but i
did not put in a new password - what do i do? i do not have original software

thanks, i'll give it a go - doesn't seem much can be done without the windows
xp package

I just had a similar problem. If you have access to another computer with
Internet (which apparently you do), follow the link. It will take you to a
site where you can find out what all the passwords are set to on your
computer for any user that exists. That will maybe at least help you be able
to login. Really easy to do & FREE!
