password problem

whenever i type my e-mail id to join orkut the password is shown
automatically.thats why someone can easily use my account.how can i
solve this problem.i want when ill type my e-mail id then the password
will not be shown automatically.when i shall type my password then i
can enter to my account.

There are so many ways to read groups it would be impossible to know which
one you are using. However since you are writing from a gmail account, I
will assume that you are using groups.google.com to read. On the signin form
uncheck the box that says "Remember me on this computer"

Currently google groups is broken anyway. They are running several days
behind. You can read the groups directly from the Microsoft site using :
http://www.microsoft.com/office/com...rosoft.public.excel.programming&lang=en&cr=US

If you use that to read them you will need a Login there and you can set it
to remember user name & password, user name only or nothing at all.
