Password Problem

I recently upgraded my old computer's OS from WinME to
Win2000 Pro. After prompting me for a password to create
a new user account, I attempted to enter my password, but
Windows refuses to recognize my password or any variation
of it. I have exhausted all the resources I have at my
disposal, any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can't upgrade from WinME to W2K. You have a damaged installation.
