Password Policy

Hi,
I am trying to create a password policy for all users in the domain. When I
edit the Domain Group Policy, I am not seeing "Account Policies" under \User
Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\ but rather under
\Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\. I thought
password policy was more user specific than computer specific. Am I missing
something? Thanks for your input. P

Hi,

Firstly I wouldn't recommend editing the default domain policy. Leave it
alone in case of disaster recovery. Create or clone the GPO and edit the
settings under Windows settings\security settings\account policies\Password
polices. The domain policy applies to all OUs unless you have blocked
inheritance.

Thank you Stuart for your input. Should I edit settings under \Computer
Configuration in a cloned GPO object then? C
