This isn't really an XP question, but I didn't know where else to pose this
question. If anyone knows of a better group to which this question could be
posted, please let me know.

We are looking a password management product to help us keep track of
passwords on everything from Excel sheets to admin accounts. Another unit
in my division uses a product called Password Manager XP, which they seem to
like. I have no opinion regarding that product because I have never used
it. I would be interested in hearing about competing products. I would
also be interested in the pros and cons of specific products (including
Password Manager XP) that people have used.

Finally, having never used a password management product, I am not familiar
with the feature sets of such products, so I would be interested in hearing
about any features that a good password management solution should include.

Any information that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

I use Password Corral 4.0. It was just one that I found that was a
better solution than a massive word document.

Features: You can categorize in different folders, and you can store it
on a thumb drive as it has the ability to load data from "my docs" or a
specified folder or the exe folder (thus thumb drive works great). It
allows launch from the program (or at least says it does) along with
other features I really don't use. I use it for the simple storage
feature.

I can't vouch for the security part of it. It does keep the honest guy
honest. I will be interested to hear any respondents to your question
that can afford pros and cons of 'protection'.
