Password lockout

I have a computer with Windows 2000 Professional operating
system. I was logged on as a user with administrator
privileges and changed the password for that user as well
as the administrator in the Administrative Tools. It was
correctly confirmed and according to the dialog box had
been changed. Upon reboot I get an error message that the
password is incorrect for both that user and the
administrator user. I've tried the password I changed it
to, that password with the Caps Lock on, the old password
and nothing works. I'm totally locked out and can't get
in. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
