Password forgotten

I forgot the password to log on Windows XP Pro that I have
on my home computer. At this point I can't log on to the
machine. So how can I get around this problem?

At the Welcome Screen press Ctl-Alt-Del twice and log on as Administrator.
You can change your user password from there in Control panel.

Congratulations! You are the 1,000th person who has "forgotten" his/
her password this year. Perhaps, just perhaps, you might want to write
it down somewhere. Then write another note saying where you put the
first one. Of course you could tatoo it on your farhead, right next to
the one there already. Which I believe reads "Stupid".
