password for folder

Hello,
Is there any free tool around to put a password for folder access? I have
one but it does not work when the computer was brought up with safe mode.

SO I need one specific password for me. when I go google, there are lots of
30 day trial, I need a free one. Doe anyone know one?

Try an On-The-Fly-Encryption package. It works a little different in
that you mount a container file as a virtual disk with a password.
Anything written to this "disk" is encrypted and not otherwise
viewable when the disk is not mounted. A free version is "TrueCrypt":
