in windows 98 passwords were saved in a .pwl file.
is there some comparable file where 2000 stores those?
If i need to clear the password cache on a Windows 2000
pc, how do I do that?
thanks,
g

What passwords do you want to clear?
If you look for the saved passwords from e.g. secure websites:
Open IE, go to: Tools>Internet Options>Contents>Auto Complete
There is a Clear Password option.

Passwords for Win2k are part of the users account which will require
Administrator rights to change.
