Some viewers of my site say a password box pops up when they open the site, and they can continue if they hit "cancel" in the box. Is this some setting in Front Page, something to do with my server, or something on individual computers? Thank you very much. Site link belo

Do you have links to any content that is within the _private folder, if so move the content out of
the _private folder.

Hummmmmm--what the hec is that? It must be a file for the hit counter? I've moved it out of the private folder. thanks!

Which file did you move, if the file had .cnt extension, it belongs in the _private folder.

indeed, it is a .cnt file -- I've moved it back, hope it still works. That was the only file in the private folder

Then you need to ask your host to run a check on the extensions and/or check the permissions for
your account.
