Is it possible to password a folder? I know I can restrict access by
login ID, but I'd prefer to do it by password. Thanks.

All folder permissions are governed by the login account.

Not without 3rd party software.

My favorite freeware for this purpose is "TrueCrypt". Rather than a
passworded folder, it creates a virtual disk that mounts with a
password. Once mounted, the data is freely accessed like it was
another disk on your system. When dismounted it exists as an encrypted
container file on your hard drive.
