Passive vs Active url links

These forums would be a lot more 'user friendly' if an url
(s) that are entered by various methods were active(ie
clickable) instead of passive. As it is one has to write
down the url(s), minimize the forum page, start IE and
then use file/open to enter the url. I guess this is
another example of MS's slap-dash get-it-out-the-door-
quick thinking. Typical MS.

Passive. When you put your cursor on it, it does not
highlight therefore not clickable.

It must be your newsreader since D@nnyBoy's reply contains a clickable link.

;) (MS must do something with this mess compared to modern
forums)

Well, workaround for this:

- Mark the link, right click - choose copy and right
click/paste it within your
browsers adressbar.

- It this URL also is broken beacuse of length you must do
this twice, MS software can´t handle this..... !?!

You cannot mark the link since it is not clickable.

I am using xp sp2 oe 6.0. All bells and whistles updated.
