Pass Through connection ActiveSync

I have a device connected through ActiveSync. I can see
all IP ports on the local network (wireless router).
Cannot resolve hostnames and cannot see IP's outside the
WAN. I think it is a DNS or WINS issue.

I need to access an IP address over the internet.

Windows 2003, DLink 614+ Router, CE 4.1, Active Sync 3.7.

Any hints are appreciated.

Win CE does not support Active Sync Pass Through, only the Pocket PC.

You will need to add some type of network connectivity directly to your win
CE device. WiFi, Ethernet or a modem.

I am in the process of deploying 5-10 scanners, all Symbol 8800 series. We
originally looked at the Win CE version because it was less expensive, but
this very issue killed that idea. We went with the Pocket PC versions
instead.
