Pass-through authentication between untrusted domains.

Admin User in in an untrusted NT4 domain cannot access a Windows 2003
resource domain using pass-through authentication.

Is this simply down to the fact that NTLM is not enabled?

This is a simple fact because the domain isn't trusted. Pass-through
authentication only works between trusted entities.
