pass parameters to textbox

I am trying to update two tables with the same form, I created a select query
that joins the two table. A form is then linked to the query.

When opening the form you are ask to enter a reference number, in the hopes
of being able to update the client and issue table.

On entering the reference I had hoped that the tables could be viewed by the
form.
