partitions

Hello freinds,




I recently converted my partitions to dynamic partition. So
now i have basic disk just simple disks. I want to know
that if i delete the current windows XP OS and can I start
the installation of OS 2000 or XP without converting the
disks from dyanamic to Basic..I want to start from Boot CD
installation...is it possible..??




Means can I install any new OS (XP or 2000) without
converting my dynamic partitions to basic..???

Reinstalling on dynamic disks, and deleting/recreating a volume during
this, is one of the most common reasons why people loose data from dynamic
disks.

In order to convert back to a basic disk, you would need to delete all
current volumes on the disk.
