Partition Problem

I have a computer running XP Pro. I was having trouble
with it so I decided to do a clean install. I booted
from the XP CD and then went to delete the partition on
my C: drive (which is internal) and accidentally deleted
the partition on my backup drive (that is external)! I
immediately stopped doing anything on that drive. Is
there a way to get that partition back on that external
drive? I have all my important files on that drive! Can
anyone help me?

As long as you haven't written anything to the drive, it should be easily
recoverable w/ the right tools. If you overwrote the partition w/ the
install, such as formatted!!!, you're cooked.
