partition problem

I build a pc to my client with A7N8X Delux asus
motherboard, amd 2600 barton processor, 512 mb ddr ram and
all other necessery hardwares,
The problem is that i use only samsung`s 80 gb sata
harddisk not any ide hard disk, i want to install windows
xp professional BUT I CANNOT PARTITION THIS HARDDISK BY
USING WINDOWS XP BOOTABLE please give solution to solve my
problem

In addition to your other reply, have your looked on the ASUS web site for
help with your problem? Also check out the asus newsgroups, This is not
really a XP speific problem, so you might get more help from the specific
newsgroups.
