Although if you can boot from your CD I recommend downloading a good
emergency boot CD, like Ultimate Boot CD-

It has heaps of goodies on it, including Partition Resizer.
Admittedly it's quite a big download (42MB), but it might just save
you in the long run.

FIPS is the program. Check the docs about defragging and making
certain all sectors are moved.
