I installed my Partition Magic 8.01 on my Windows XP home system. I
want to use it to copy my C drive (200g) to an external USB2.0 drive F:
(also 200g). First it says it has to delete the partition on the target
drive (F: or disk 2). Then, I go through the copy partition wizard to
select the source and target drive, etc. When I am done, it has a task
list on the bottom left side of Operations Pending. It lists the second
step as Copy C: to disk 1. However C: is my disk 1, my target
destination is disk 2. Is this just a mistake in the Operations List?
If I double click it, it opens up a window with more detailed info and
that part is correct, but I am cautious about potentially screwing up
my main drive by copying to itself. Has anyone else seen this and got
the partition copy to work successfully?
