I can not partition my hard disk through disk managment console.

Without loosing my data and system files is there anyway I can partition my

Partitioning is only available for "Unallocated' space on a drive. To
perform resizing/movement you'd need a 3rd-Party application like
Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Management.
It might help us to understand, if you explained in more detail what
it is you are trying to do. If you are interested in a complete disk
restructuring, then you can use the XP CD ROM to remove all the
existing partitions and start over.

I assume you currently have a single partition that occupies the
entire disk.

The tools that come with WinXP can only destroy and create partitions.
To shrink your existing partition and use the freed space to create a
new one you need third party software.

Possibilities include Partition Magic
(www.symantec.com/partitionmagic) and BootitNG
(http://www.bootitng.com/bootitng.html). Google for others.
