Ihave a OEM XP home on a 40 GB hard drivr. I want to
repartition the hard drivr in 2 or 3 sections to have a
section for programs (and boot) and a data section.
What is the procedure? can I also reformat the hard drive
and then convert to NTFS and then do a restore?
Thank you.

Purchase Partition Magic 8 (www.powerquest.com). You cannot do this
natively. You don't need to reformat to convert to NTFS - type 'NTFS' into
the help and support centre.

You don't have to purchase anything - google for BootIT and download the
app. and read the instructions carefully, back up anything you don't care to
lose, and repartition. I've used it for a number of years, always worked
fine and never lost any data.
