partial black desktop

when I turned on my pc this morning there was a 3"
verticle strip on the left side of my desktop, completely
black. I have tried restarting multiple times with no
luck, I have tested for viruses coming up clear and I
have looked at my startup to see if there is anything new
or different & I don't see anything. ANY IDEAS?

Adjust your monitor controls, usually located near the bottom of your
monitor.

Most likely u chnaged your screen resolution at one point
and your monitor just needs to be resized. the controls
on your monitor can do this. check out the manual for
your monitor if u dont know the controls.
