Hi,
My Computer doesn't recognize my digital Camera, I even
installed the USB Driver that was in a CD with the Camera
but nothing happened with that too and because I have
Windows XP it doesn't need any CD install for this as it
say in the Digital Camera Catalog.
By the way i connected my digital cam with my friends
computer and it was OK, and also his camera had the same
problem with my Computer that's why i think the problem
is with my computer and the USB connection on the
Motherboard?
Plesase Help me on this,

by the way, I tried the installation many times but i
think the problem is with the usb of the pc beacuse there
is no usb in the device manager!? and the cable, camera
and the connection is OK!!!

Hi Ali -

A little more information is necessary here... who makes your computer
and/or motherboard.

It is likely that USB is not enabled in your BIOS if you are not seeing it
in Device Manager. There may be one or two places in your BIOS: one, in an
area such as "Integrated Peripherals" where USB 1.1 or 2.0 is enabled (if
your motherboard supports it) and another area such as "PnP/PCI
Configurations" where there may be an item to allocated an IRQ for USB.

Please note that your computer BIOS is completely separate from your
operating system. If you are confused as to how to get into your BIOS to
check things out, refer to that manual that came with your
computer/motherboard or refer to the manufacturers website.
