Parsing error in Outlook 2002 email accounts

E

Erik

Every time I start Outlook I need to go to the E-Mail Accounts configuration
and fix the email addresses.

The POP3 is changed to "localhost" and the former POP3 entry is after the
User Name separated by a slash like this: "user/mail.myserver.net".

I have applied OfficeXP SP2 and the latest Office Update including the
Outlook 2002 patch. It made no difference.

How do I fix this? Thanks.

You apparently have anti-virus or anti-spam software installed that is redirecting your accounts to a POP server that's running locally on your machine and downloaded messages from your online account. The first step is to determine what program that might be and disable or remove it.
