Parser messages

Hi all, for some reason my Add/Remove Programs applet in
Control Panel has stopped working and gives the following
error message:

Parser message
Value creation failed " at line 472

All updates are installed and the system is fairly fresh,
not long since the last install (not upgrade).

This is like the KB article detailing a problem with a
corrupt shellstyle.dll, but that fix was for line 410 and
didn't work here.

Anybody got any ideas?
